HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER 2024
(in loving memory of Toby)
Our Rescue has financially suffered terribly since the beginning of the year 2020. Our donations have plummeted causing us to take in less and less dogs each year due to cost.
Still we have taken in as many seniors and dogs with special needs as we could. As you all know we lost our precious irreplaceable Toby. Since then we have accepted several special needs furbabies.
1) Kahleesi (also known as Itty Bitty), arrived with a horrendous skin infection which has finally healed nicely after many months of treatment.
2) Violet Rose, a tiny young (2 lb) female who arrived completely blind. We have been to the eye specialist several times and it has been determined that not a candidate for eye surgery. Her sight cannot be restored. She is on multiple eye drops each day.
3) Taco has been with us for several years. He had two extensive surgeries; one for a Liver Shunt and the other for Bladder stones. Although he recovered from both surgeries he is not a candidate for any additional procedures that may require anesthesia. He is on many medications a day after arriving as a puppy with a brain injury.
4) We recently took in a 17 year old male yorkie named Lucas who has left at an animal facility after his owner died. He was not suitable for adoption suffering horribly with a dental infection. We took him in immediately and thankfully his heart was strong enough for surgery. All of his teeth were removed and he has now recovered. He will spend the rest of his senior years with us.
We believe every life is worth saving. We know you do too. Can you help us continue this important work? If you cannot send a monetary donation then as always, we ask you for your prayers.
