"People have choices, animals don't."
Can you help us? Here is a list of items we could use. If you are interested in sending any of these items to us, please contact us for the mailing address. Thanks and God Bless our loyal supporters! If it wasn't for you, we couldn't do what we do!
PREEMIE PAMPERS - This is Tootsie. She is a permanent foster baby. She is a 5 lb. Maltese who was born with a deformity causing her to be totally dependent on wearing diapers 24/7. We are always looking for diaper donations. She wears the Pampers Preemie size. Click here to see where we buy ours:
DOGGIE STEPS are a staple around here. But they do break from time to time. We try to keep a supply on hand. The older senior yorkies are always looking for a little help on their climb up to the sofa cushion or the bed. We could use them in three and four step height. We have seen them in CVS and Walgreens for $9.95. When they get them in stock, we usually grab an extra one or two... but now all of our extras are gone.
DOG BOWLS - We can always use a few extra doggie food bowls. We use the bowls that measure approximately 5 to 6 inches round; water bowls are of course larger. We do NOT use plastic as it can absorb bacteria. We do NOT use aluminum because it can also leach into food or water. We don't mean to sound picky, but we only use the safest possible bowls for our yorkies, which is stainless steel bowls. Dog Bowls donated... we have plenty now!
SMALL ADJUSTABLE HARNESS
8-14 inch girth, 3/8th inch width.
Our Harnesses don't last long here. On almost every adoption day, our yorkies gets adopted wearing their harnesses until the new owners can buy extras. Hence, we are always running out of harnesses. When we do have a few extra bucks, we buy then in Wal-Mart. They are relatively inexpensive; less than $10.00. Donations of leashes are also welcomed.
GENTLY USED ITEMS ARE WELCOMED. IF THEY ARE STILL IN GOOD CONDITION, WE CAN USE THEM!
Permanent Foster Babies - Joey, Bunnie and Annie; all seniors with special medication required.
- Joey is going blind. He is on costly eye meds.
- Bunnie has a seizure disorder and arthritis of the spine. She takes Phenobarbital.
- Annie requires Soloxine for thyroid disease. She is a puppy mill survivor with behavioral issues.
Thank you for all the dog bowls Stephanie!
Please consider making a donation towards the prescriptions and general care that goes into keeping these permanent foster babies comforable and healthy. Thank you so much!
WASHABLE PEE WEE PADS - 34X36 Regular Pads
Many of our washable pee wee pads have seen better days; we have been using them way past the expected shelf life and they are beginning to fall apart in our washing machine. We do at least 8 loads of laundry a day, which not only includes the pee wee pads, but all the bedding, towels, blankets and t-shirts. Our washing machine is going constantly. We sure could use more pads; they are an essential around here. We have tried many different brands, but find these to be the highest quality. size 34X36 Regular Pads or larger.
Thank you for the case of diapers Diane... we have enough for a while now. (4/24/2012)
